A praise note for a deceased friend...

Not many a times do we get to write a praise note for a deceased person. I did write one earlier, for my grand father, but this is the first one on a person who was younger to me.

I still remember; I was an year old in Siemens and was a workaholic when I had met Vivekanand Patil - sweetly known as Pillu. He joined as a fresher and I had been his mentor for a while. We spent 1 year together in the team and 6months as room mates. In the time that we had been together, we had exchanged the best times possible for us and our relationship continued until date, even after my exit from the organization for a very long time.

He was well known professionally for his convincing skills for every order he undertook, but he was even well known personally for his exuberant and vibrant social behavior. He was extremely intelligent and every one had their bets on for his unforeseen successful future. Not to mention that he was extremely hard working and had every aspect of human intelligence to get his work done without much efforts. He worked on every single object that he was lacking at and I should accept, there was a lot I learnt from him, as much as I could teach him.

Now, he is no longer with us!
He was twenty-six and was consumed by a massive heart-attack as I was told.

While there has been emotions running among we (common) friends on a great loss, all we could do is grieve! We are definitely at loss with such a great and fierce friend lost to something so terrible at a very young age! It is not just we friends miss him, but our families who knew him very little but cared a lot have shed their tears across to express his loss!

It is no wonder we will keep him etched in our memories, but definitely that doesn't explain how biased the nature could be to one of those wonderful souls that could have made a difference to this world!
