in·cep·tion
n. The beginning of something, such as an undertaking; a commencement.
That is all what it is - an Inception defined in the movie; but with utmost beauty and perfection in the storyline. Its been ages I have appreciated a movie with a highly complex logic that involves a serious thought process, since the Matrix, I should say. And now the time has come to give my kudos to Christopher Nolan!!
I should say I expected something like this in the "Avatar" but was not much disappointed because the movie though differed with the concept (my expectations to be specific), it did hit the core with its ideology. But, with this movie my expectations have grew multi-folds on the forthcoming, yet specific movies.
I may not be that big a movie critic, but I definitely do carry the reputation of liking weird movies among my friends. As a normal movie fan, this movie shall remain exceptional and etched into our minds as long as we keep dreaming in our sleep.
And as a fan of Mr. Caprio's characters, I would definitely list them above all, besides "The Aviator" and "The Departed". He was impeccable and at his best in every bit of the movie and was not disappointed to see his sharp eyes poke the big screens whenever he wanted to mean something off his eyes. None other could have done it better!
Every bit in the movie, seems to awaken the simplest question in our minds - is it a dream?
That awakening is something that arises when you understand the concept of the movie. Am happy to note that even Jo acknowledged the movie with great awe and kept laughing asking me "Is it a dream?"
Overall, the movie was a good watch that could make us think twice before dreaming and will definitely stand tall for a while in my all time movie watch list :)
