Year 2009 – the past || Year 2010 – the Future

2009!!!

Cannot say it had mixed moments!! It was eventful though!

Lessons learnt that will keep my mind fresh for the years to come.

Disappointments that will make me try even harder to avoid them.

Happiness that would make me reach heights to achieve it again.

Surprises that made me wonder, was I really worth it!

Losses that I would feel forever in my life.

Anger that made me feel how bad it could be if I carry it again!

Sorrow that forced me to shallow thoughts for quite some time, never wanting to wake up again.

Travel, which made me realize what I would be missing if I ever owed not to travel

Passion that took me a step further to the activities that I realized I love

Mistakes that I would like to correct in the coming year

and

Events that would remain etched in my memory forever till my life ends!!!

 

Well!!! I think I was wrong… it was a mix after-all. Now as I go through what I just typed out here… everything gets rewind back in my memories. Memories, that will last for a very long time. To summarize, it was a wonderful year to pass!

I do remember a lot of people playing a key role in each day of my life – family, friends, old friends reconnecting, new friends, sweet enemies fighting all over and certainly there was irrevocable losses! I miss my grand-dad who defined my life to an extent and my uncle, who was innocent enough to differentiate good from bad! And not to mention the new relationship that am trying to build currently, that would hold for the coming decades of my life!!!

2010!!!

Have never been a man of resolutions! So, I expect nothing and promise nothing. But some things change in life as a new relationship begins – a relationship that settles its roots for the rest of your life. So, by the end of the year 2010, there could be something different to write about in these same pages.

Hopeful to get off with a brand new year by the time I wake up tomorrow morning (I know some of you might have already been through the new year, but still),
