A wonderful night with all snows around… it felt like a place to be during Christmas. I should say I was a little disappointed though, as it never felt like Christmas among the crowd, with all shops closed and even restaurants closed. Maybe, I was on the wrong part of the town for the day. Nevertheless, the evening on the Christmas day was bustling with crowd around.
Watched Avatar on the same day and the crowd to the movie made me think, where did this crowd last evening and the same day morning! The movie hall was packed with anxious heads awaiting the screening of the movie. And the shopping spree was on as well!!
I was so anxious to buy a laptop that I roamed almost from one end to the other end of Toronto looking for the best deals and hoping to buy a laptop on the same day. It was the day before Christmas! And I was completely unaware that all the shops closed on Christmas eve by 5. And yes, if you guessed me right, I did not get the laptop!!! And I thought that I would never get my hands on the HP DV6 which I had fixed in my mind to buy! The day closed and the next day was Christmas, which meant no shops! I had to wait for the Boxing day – today.
And here I am typing out this blog on the brand new DV6 with Intel Core duo processor T6600, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD – bought this for my Jo!!!
And I just realized today how lucky I am.. had to teach Jo how to install & use GTalk … lol! Am known to be so damn cool with all the new techhieee stuff that get launched in the market and my Jo, needs assistance over the phone to install and use GTalk!! Chemistry begins here!!! :)
